Hive doubled its floor space at its base in Loughborough to meet growing demand for specialist composites engineering services.
Taking on the building next door at Wymeswold Business Quarter brings Hive’s premises to around 7,000 sq ft, giving the business more room for equipment, project work and a growing team.
For Hive’s customers, that means more space to support the practical challenges of developing, proving and commercialising new products, from initial design and prototyping through to certification support.
Managing Director Nigel Finney said: “The second building gives us the space and flexibility to support the next stage of Hive’s growth.”

Hive has also welcomed two new colleagues: Mohammad Heidari-Rarani, Senior Project Engineer, who joined in July, and Mark Lidgett, Engineering Manager, who joined the following month.
Both bring valuable composites project engineering and management experience as Hive expands its work across energy, infrastructure and other technically demanding sectors.
